Ooredoo supports Qatar Cancer Society’s activities, which fits within the framework of Ooredoo’s corporate social responsibility program in line with Qatar National Vision (QNV) 2030 to focus on the human factor and invest in human health.

The donation is Ooredoo’s contribution to achieving QCS’s vision to be a community partnership platform to make Qatar a leader in cancer prevention and its burden control.

Dr. Dera Al Dosari, Director of Resources Development Department at QCS , thanked Ooredoo for the kind gesture of supporting the Society, pointing to the previous co-operation between the two parties in raising public awareness of cancer through establishment of the Ooredoo Cancer Awareness Center in 2017.

He affirmed that QCS will continue efforts to achieve its mission to prevent cancer and control its burden in Qatar by working with our partners to educate the community, and to support, empower and advocate for individuals living with cancer, and to engage in professional development and scientific research in the field of cancer , pointing to the importance of community partnerships in fighting cancer.

He stressed that addressing cancer requires concerted efforts and constant co-operation between all institutions and agencies in the State, as QCS cannot operate in isolation from the others.
