{"id":7543,"date":"2026-06-17T11:39:14","date_gmt":"2026-06-17T08:39:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.qcs.qa\/?p=7543"},"modified":"2026-07-02T11:43:48","modified_gmt":"2026-07-02T08:43:48","slug":"qcs-sustainability-program-reaches-3100-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.qcs.qa\/en\/qcs-sustainability-program-reaches-3100-students\/","title":{"rendered":"QCS Sustainability Program Reaches 3,100 Students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Qatar Cancer Society (QCS), in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, continues to implement its sustainable awareness program \u201cYour Health, Your Success \u201d, launched in 2017 to promote health awareness among school students and encourage positive health behaviors within the school community.<\/p>\n<p>During the 2025\u20132026 academic year, the program reached more than 3,100 students across 124 public and private schools through a series of interactive workshops and educational activities designed to engage students of different ages and simplify key health concepts.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-7538 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.qcs.qa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/7-300x200.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.qcs.qa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/7-300x200.png 300w, https:\/\/www.qcs.qa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/7-1024x682.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.qcs.qa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/7-768x511.png 768w, https:\/\/www.qcs.qa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/7.png 1286w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In recognition of its contributions to community initiatives and health education, QCS was honored as a National Partner by the Department of Private Schools and Kindergartens at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education during the closing ceremony of the \u201cMy Values Shape My Identity\u201d project for the 2025\u20132026 academic year.<\/p>\n<p>Commenting on the program, Ms. Heba Nassar, Head of Health Awareness at QCS, said that the initiative reflects the Society\u2019s commitment to educating students about healthy lifestyles, reducing harmful health behaviors, and increasing awareness of cancer-related issues, including risk factors, prevention methods, and the importance of early detection.
