He noted that recognizing partners reflects the Society\u2019s deep appreciation for their commitment and meaningful contributions in improving the lives of cancer patients and survivors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Dr. Khalid revealed that, with the support of its partners and donors, QCS funded the treatment of more than 1,790 patients in 2025, with a total cost exceeding QAR 47.5 million. This support covered adult patients treated at the National Center for Cancer Care and Research and pediatric patients receiving care at Sidra Medicine, helping ease financial burdens and ensure access to essential treatment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">He further highlighted the Society\u2019s growing impact in psychosocial support and awareness. In 2025, more than 1,200 individuals directly benefited from psychosocial support programs, while approximately 40,000 beneficiaries were reached through targeted awareness campaigns via SMS and digital platforms. Additionally, 50 patients received individualized psychosocial counseling services.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-7517 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.qcs.qa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/1-300x165.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"165\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.qcs.qa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/1-300x165.png 300w, https:\/\/www.qcs.qa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/1-768x422.png 768w, https:\/\/www.qcs.qa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/1.png 848w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">QCS also expanded its strategic engagement across sectors, signing 17 strategic partnerships with government and private entities. The Society implemented more than 80 awareness initiatives throughout the year, strengthening prevention efforts and promoting early detection across diverse community groups.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Awareness efforts reached more than 6.6 million indirect beneficiaries through year-round digital campaigns, online educational content, and outreach initiatives. Meanwhile, 18,950 individuals participated directly in workshops, awareness programs, and community events, reinforcing QCS\u2019s leadership role in cancer awareness and education.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The ceremony featured a documentary highlighting the Society\u2019s achievements and milestones, produced by Al Rayyan TV, showcasing the impact of community support in advancing cancer care and awareness.
