{"id":1225,"date":"2017-12-28T05:31:21","date_gmt":"2017-12-28T05:31:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/beta.qcs.qa\/?p=1225\/"},"modified":"2018-09-20T12:58:13","modified_gmt":"2018-09-20T09:58:13","slug":"qcs-electronic-collection-to-make-donations-easier","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.qcs.qa\/en\/qcs-electronic-collection-to-make-donations-easier\/","title":{"rendered":"QCS electronic collection to make donations easier"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Qatar Cancer Society (QCS) has launched an electronic collection system at 21 sites across the country, to make donations easier.<br \/>\nDonations are one of the most important sources of QCS to treat patients who are unable to afford the treatment as well as to support its programmes to spread awareness of cancer.<br \/>\nQCS general manager Mariam al-Noaimi stressed the importance of the donation in financial and moral support for cancer patients and combating cancer. She also called up on all parties to join hands to raise awareness of the disease and contribute to patients\u2019 treatment.<br \/>\nIn addition, some collection sites have been provided with screens to display awareness videos about cancer and promote early detection.
